The DIY Beyond Elderberry Syrup with this little package that contains all the needed herbs along with detailed instructions. Contained are enough herbs to make 8 to 10 eight ounce bottles of syrup, a retail value of over $200. You will need to provide your sweetener of choice (honey, sugar, agave work well), storage bottles (any seal able glass bottles will do), and the other equipment needed to make a syrup, which can usually be found around the home (stove, pots, measuring cup, something to strain herbs with (this can be a mesh strainer, cheesecloth, or even an old clean tee shirt). I also recommend adding a small amount of alcohol, such as vodka or brandy, to help preserve. You may alternatively use apple cider vinegar.
This is a great way to try your hand at syrups at a really affordable price.
